Dr. Oz says"Fake A Facelift" With Phytoceramides

Dr. Oz has introduced us to another way to "Fake A Facelift". This time it is with phytoceramides. ceramides are the lipids found in our skin's membrane. It helps us maintain our skin's hydration and keep our skin plumped up.

As we age our ceramide levels decrease and this can cause wrinkles to form. So increasing the ceramide levels again can prevent wrinkles from forming.

We turn over our skin cells every month so it will take 4 weeks of supplementation for us to start to see any changes in our skin.

The suggested dose is 350 mg per day and it can be taken with a full or empty stomach. It doesn't matter. Also, Drs. suggest that this works best with using a topical vitamin C  cream in conjunction with the supplements. Look for vitamin C products that have at least 10% ascorbic acid.

Also, if you should have a wheat sensitivity, you should look for phyoceramides made from rice or sweet potatoes because most are made from wheat germ.

Even though this advice came from Dr. Oz, always make sure you check with your  own Dr' before starting any new supplements.
