Cellulite? Is There Hope?

Click to see full size of chart

Diet Changes:
-Count calories and keep to roughly 1500-1700 calories a day
-Cut down on fat, sugars, refined carbs, and sodium
-Cut down on alcohol
-Cut down on caffeine
-Eat 5 times a day (3 meals, 2 snacks)

Exercise Changes:
-At least two 30-45 minute cardio sessions a week
-At least two 45 minute weight-lifting sessions a week
-Walking my dog for about half an hour at least 3 times a week

Beauty Regimen Changes:
-Dry brushing once a day
-Applying Jergen’s Skin Firming lotion twice a day

I think that for me to really get rid of the cellulite on my stomach, I’m going to have to keep up with all these changes for a few more months. Seems like the only way to really get rid of cellulite is to get rid of body fat! The other stuff helps too, but my guess is that the most significant factors are diet and exercise.

I wanted to recommend my cellulite busting plan, which after 5 days is starting to lessen the orange peel just above my knee and help tone my legs.

Morning- banana and yoghurt or oatmeal and blueberries or homemade pancakes and blueberries
Lunch- Green leaf and mixed bean salad with dressing, or vegetable soup and wholewheat bread or mixed vegetable salad and croutons, 2 egg scrambled egg with 2 slices of wholewheat/ multigrain bread
Dinner- Detox shake (vegetable/ fruit mix) and fruit wholewheat bar eg. musli and yoghurt bar

Walking 10,000 steps/ day; wearing the `FITFLOP`; this has really been helping me tone

Brushing: twice a day before hot shower (finish with a coldish water blast)

Massage: Once a week at a salon

Vivi, thanks for your post. What is the fitflop?

Your diet sounds like it is right what Dr. Murad recommends. Thanks for the post! I started dry brushing again today. We'll see if it can get through my blubber :)
