ANUSHKA’S SLIMMING SOUP
Make a week’s worth at once and eat as much as you like, whenever you like. The more soup you have, the more weight you will lose. For a change of pace, use your blender to make a vegetable puree or cream soup. Enjoy!
4 to 6 onions 6 stalks celery ½ teaspoons ground pepper
2 green or red peppers 4 carrots 1 teaspoon rosemary
1 bunch of scallions 1 large potato 1 teaspoon thyme
2 large tomatoes 1 bunch parsley ½ cup dry vermouth
1 small head cabbage 4 cloves crushed garlic 2 bay leaves
Cut vegetables into medium pieces and chop herbs. Cover with water and boil for 20 minutes. Lower heat and simmer until vegetables become soft or al dente, depending on your preference.
Note: You may add 4-6 cubes or the equivalent, of any of the following natural seasonings, available at health food or gourmet shops: Barth’s Nutrasoup (instant broth concentrate- chicken, beef, or vegetable); Vogue (instant vegetable base); Morga (vegetable boullion cubes); Bioforce (vegetable plantaforce).
