Last night was so bad I ended up smearing vasoline all over my face. It was so dried that I was afraid it would crack and I would end up with scaring.
The vasoline made it more comfortable and I was able to sleep.
Today I woke with the vasoline gone and my face dried and tight. Once again, I could not go to work today.
Now I looked at my face and I am starting to peel for the second time.It is a really dry peel unlike the first peel that was moist sheets of skin peeling off. This is more of a fluffy, flaky peeling.
I will wash my face again and put more vasoline on it and see how the day goes.
I just wanted to let people know what really happens because the Dr's will say " Oh it's not bad. A few days and you will be perfect again." 100% untrue. Remember I had this done Saturday afternoon and it is Thursday and I am starting a second peel and I could not go to work. My face is still swollen so even if I peeled off the skin and used makeup, I would not look good.
Also, my skin still is stinging so applying makeup or concealer would not be comfortable. I still am fairly raw.
